Poppy
is an adorable all-around pony, she's been a favorite with kids in the
lesson program. Poppy is a doll on the ground, super quiet, easy
for the little ones to pick feet, groom, clip, bathe, and tack up on
their own. Poppy has been used for complete beginners as young as
3 years old, on up to young, intermediate riders who are jumping,
competing in shows and running barrels and poles. Poppy will walk
around slow and quiet all day with a little one, but still will trot,
and canter easily when asked. Has a good stop, neck reins, picks
up her leads consistently. Poppy is very quiet out on the trail,
does great alone or in a group of horses. She is comfortable being
ridden in the arena with "big" horses. Poppy has been used for
lots of lessons over ground poles and cross rails, and will jump up to
2'6". Poppy is a great pony to have in the family for all of the
kids, she works well for tiny tots, on up to the older kids that want to
just go out and ride and have a good time. No vices or bad habits,
easy to catch.
