One Young Lady aka: "Sophie" - 14H,
1999', sorrel AQHA mare
"Sophie" is one of the broke-est mares we have ever
come across. She has an exceptional handle on her, and some of the
smoothest gaits that a non-gaited horse can have. Sophie has an
awesome, easy spin, smooth auto lead changes, will come to a quick, dead
halt on "whoa" from any gait. Sophie has a super neck rein!
She has such a solid, consistent, power steering handle, she will ride
around with her bridle off just about anywhere. Sophie has a top
of the line pedigree!!!
She started a young rider out cutting and has been an excellent first
horse and teacher for several beginner riders. She
has been used for all levels of riders, just about anyone can feel
comfortable, confident, and learn to ride on this mare. She has
been in parades, great in new places, next to nothing bothers her.
Awesome trail horse, rides out alone or in a group. She has been
used
for playdays, drill team, penning, and sorting. She has won
money and will do great at penning and sorting competitions, or could be
tuned up as a cutter and start an amateur or youth rider out at the
shows.
Hauls, loads, clips, bathes, good with her feet, stands tied, easy
keeper, she is a light cribber when moved/stressed/hauled or stalled,
but does not crib with collar on, great to tack up, drops her head to a
halter or bridle; awesome mare!!! This is a
horse that anyone would be proud to have in their barn, an absolute
blast to ride!
