This horse would be perfect for someone just starting out that wants to do playdays, run barrels, or team pen. She has a great neck rein, a reining style handle on her, awesome flying lead changes, hard stop, spins, rollbacks, side passes, nice short lope; this mare is a blast to ride. Delta is dead quiet on the ground, has been groomed and handled by the tiniest kids. She has been used for lead line and walk-trot lessons with small children that are complete beginners. Delta is easy to catch, lead, picks up her feet easily, ties quietly, self loads in the trailer, backs out nice and slow, clips, good for the vet and farrier, and loves her bath. Delta is great in traffic, has been ridden in thick, slow moving traffic; right next to cars, big trucks, trailers, motorcycles, etc. Has also been ridden down the side of a large, busy road. Delta runs easy barrels and poles, has a great handle on her to do any of the playday patterns easily. Delta can tolerate just about anything a rider throws at her, she's been ridden by tons of novice riders never offered to do anything but her job.
