He is the easiest horse to catch, comes tromping up to you when he sees you coming, he is like a big pet dog. Billy is quiet on the ground, good with his feet, easy to tack up, brush, bridle, ties well to the trailer and in the barn. Billy is an awesome trail horse, he rides out well alone and in groups. Billy has been used for riding lessons, he rides quiet in the arena with other horses, has a good stop, backs up, gives both ways. Has super fun, big, slow gaits. Billy is a typical draft, he is SLOW and lazy about just about everything he is asked to do. He walks and trots easily, but takes some serious encouragement to get into a lope. He knows his leads, stops easily from a lope on "whoa". Absolutely no buck, rear, kick, bite, etc., a very kind, gentle guy. We have not found anything that spooks Billy, he is confident out on the trail, very laid back and relaxed.
